Earth Dog

Did you know terrier is derived from the French terre, meaning earth? Did you ever wonder why?

Here are photos of my "helpful" Westie inspecting the worm compost. As soon as I lifted up the container's lid, the nose went down.  Deep in the pungent organic matter!  So I'll conclude that because this compost passed the sniff test, it is the highest quality and worth the premium price  --  a rich amendment for the soil that will nourish the plants.

(OK, I admit it. Sometimes I like to add a little fun to my gardening as well as my blogging.  Otherwise, it's just too much serious work.)
