Here in Brooklyn, my giant purple crocuses have been up, and now the little ones are starting to come up, but the little golden ones are not quite up to the light yet. The little iris reticulata have been blooming and starting to go now. I have a post about blues and photos in A Garden is the Answer to Everything, AKA http://a-gitate.blogspot.com
Nice to meet you, Sally, and thanks for the link to your garden. What a great blog name! I'm also envious that you live in Brooklyn and can visit the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, a place I'd someday like to explore.

Your photographs are beautiful. I feel like I am right there on your balcony with my nose down among the flowers, smelling spring! Finally. :-)
Hi Diana. Thank you for your lovely comment. I can learn a lot from you about gardening -- which I plan to do by visiting your blog regularly.
Do you know that so many people have decided to try growing kale this season, my local garden centre was sold out of seeds last weekend!
