Morning aromatherapy

This past week I've been inhaling the scent of lilacs on my way to work.
May is full light wind of lilacFrom Canada to Narragansett Bay.

What an inspiring balcony!
Thank you. I visited your site, http://nordicbedouin.typepad.com/yesterday, which inspires me. It's interesting to note similarities (especially in our feelings for the country) even though we are separated by an ocean & thousands of kilometres.
The lilac looks beautiful. You know I've never seen lilac. I once asked an English friend with a cottage garden whether she grew it and she said it's not cold enough in Sydney. I suppose it's probably around in cities further South, but I'd need to have it pointed out.
Hi Arwen. I hope someday you can see and sniff a lilac. They are quite lovely. To me, the most old-fashioned of flowering shrubs.
I must become more familiar with the native Australian flora. I still have to remind myself it's autumn in the southern hemisphere.
