First summer harvest from the kitchen garden
In the basket:
Bush French Filet Beans, 'Rolande' Tricolor Bush Beans - gold, purple, green Carrots, 'King Midas' Sugar Snap Peas, 'Super Sugar Snap' Heirloom Sweet Peas, 'Cupani's Original' Jewel Toned Beets - red, gold & candystripe
You've got such beautiful colours and light in that picture! The tricolour beans sound like fun. I'm harvesting sugar snaps at the moment too, and was lucky to get a big bag of homegrown salad greens from a friend this week.
Beautiful composition, it's like a painting. The beets look particularly lovely.
Thank you, Arwen and Tess. I wish the beet harvest had been larger but the moles disturbed the young seedlings. I kept rearranging the contents of the basket to make it look more abundant. Ah well, a small but very sweet veg harvest.
