After work yesterday I was hungry for beauty and goodness -- well, more like starving for them. So I went out to my balcony to experience colour, sweetness & life. Primroses, a little bird, soft light, and contemplation through a camera lens; February's versions of sunshine, freedom & a little flower.

Thank you, Sophie. I've removed from the original post my words about underexposure & composition. I like the soft afternoon light, too. So I'm happy with the photo because it's true, even though it may not be perfectly balanced or follow the rule of thirds :-).
