Lovely shot. That colour of pink looks like it would work really well in a mixed border. Happy Easter.

That gorgeous pink is lovely against the almost greyish green, and you've done a great job with the foreground focus.

Those tulips are so pretty Elaine. I really needed to see this today, as I wake up to yet another day of grey skies and rain. Everything is soggy over here, including me. I'm going to think about your spring and try to ignore our autumn.

Happy Easter, everyone.

On the way downtown I walked by these pretty tulips at the City Hall community garden. I never made it downtown. Instead I spent the waning daylight minutes photographing these tulips from different angles.

Hello, Kim. I think this is the prettiest pink tulip I've even seen. I will try to ID the variety.

Hello, Tess. I hope you're enjoyed a lovely Easter Sunday. I'm so glad you like the photograph. I'm slowly learning how to use my new camera & LIghtroom 3. Of course, it helps to practice on such gorgeous subjects.

Oh, Kathryn, sorry to hear about your wet weather. Actually, until this past week our spring has been terrible -- wet & cold. Today I expected to wake up to overcast skies at best & rain at work, but the sun was shining. Lovely for an early morning Easter walk.

The tulips are so lovely. What a pretty shade of pink. That sounds like something I would do (get distracted by a something that looks like it will make a pretty pnoto on my way to do something else...)
