small stones

Physalis alkekengi (Chinese lanterns)

Every day since January 1st, I've been selecting a "small stone" in the urban landscape on which to focus my attention and then write about later. I'm one of many contributing to the the river of stones, which you can read more about in these blog posts: About, Getting Involved.

You can find my small stones on The Preserves (a separate blog on this site). My latest is about winter's sunlight. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think I'm growing to love January...
